37 weeks

So I am 37 weeks! My doctor said that I am free to have the baby anytime now. Whoa...I'm not quite that ready! I still have January 9th in my mind. Alas, if he decides to come early, I'm assured that everything will be okay.

It's neat being so far along in pregnancy around Christmas. I have reflected more on Mary this year. I cannot imagine riding on the back of a donkey to Bethlehem being so pregnant. We watched The Nativity the other night and I must say that I have a new respect for Mary. Unlike Mary, I will relax for 4 days this weekend in the comfort of my own home and cannot WAIT!!

Baby Showers

St. Louis Shower


I have had three baby showers & Ben had one. The girls from our small group threw me a tea shower. While I was in St. Louis in early November, my mom & sister-in-law also had one with close family and friends.

While I was in St. Louis, Ben went home to Washington & his family had a shower for he & his sister, Shannon, who is also expecting

My work had a shower for me last week with a sports theme. Below are a few pics. We got our travel system and many other much needed items. Ben spent some time last weekend figuring out the carseat!











Our baby is already very blessed by many people who care about him.
