Olivia - 2 months

Olivia had her 2 month dr appt last week. She is doing just great! She is 11 lbs, 9 oz and 23.5 inches. She is 1 ounce smaller than Samuel was at this age and half of an inch taller than he was! She is really smiling now and loves to open her mouth when she smiles. Every so often a little coo will come out. She loves to watch Samuel play and run around and believe me, he does that all the time! She is sleeping great - she only wakes up once/night to eat. She even slept completely through the night from 6:30pm to 6:30 am the other night so we know she can do it!!

Cute kiddos

Samuel really likes to hold Olivia these days...he asks to hold her quite often. Olivia is now 6 weeks old! This video of her was taken last week. She is really starting to smile now!

Happy Birthday, Olivia Anna!!

We welcomed Olivia Anna into our family on May 3rd at 4:58am! She was 20 inches long and 7lbs 11oz and healthy! We have a feeling she is going to be punctual since she arrived on her due date!! Everything, including the labor, went so much smoother this time around. My labor was only 9 hrs as opposed to 18 hrs with Samuel. The hardest part of this transition to a 2nd child is handling a 2 yr old. Olivia seems "easy" aside from her keeping us up at night. :)

Easter Egg Hunt

We didn't do a formal egg hunt this year so I hid a few eggs around the courtyard area of our neighborhood. Samuel enjoyed finding his eggs filled with coins! It was a beautiful day!

36 weeks!

Well, I am 36 weeks along now! Not much longer to go! We are getting very anxious to meet our little girl! I'm trying to just savor these last few weeks with just Samuel knowing it will never be just him again.
